Queen Bee Hotel

Clean room and comfy bed; well worth the (low) price. Does not provide breakfast, but this is a minor inconvenience as the hotel is located right next to a restaurant, and Timmies and McDonalds are not too far away. Nevertheless, the service provided was friendly and excellent. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Stopped in on our way to B.C. from Ontario and the beds were amazing. The room was super clean and the staff was incredible. Even more so considering our car got broken into and we had to stay an extra two nights to get it fixed. It was just the driver side window that was broken and two bags were taken but the hotel gave us a discount on an extra two nights and were very apologetic even though it was not their fault at all. I cannot thank them enough for their discounted room after the vandalism of our vehicle. I would stay again without hesitation but I would park in the front of the hotel.They earned their 5 stars. Worth staying in. Just park in the front just incase.

I remember watching Queen Bee hotel being built! That was 17 years ago. Still looks and feels BRAND NEW!Staff: courteous and friendly. Professional.Rooms: Clean!! This has got to be the cleanest hotel room I have EVER seen...and I've stayed in many...within the city, outside of the city, outside of the country...Mattresses are so comfortable, you'll get a great night's rest here. The pillows are good too! We had two queen beds, a TV, a place to hang some clothing and a night stand with plug for charging.Washroom: spacious, they had toiletries available but if four people were staying, you'd want to ask front desk for some additional soap, etc.There's a sanitized tab indicating the toilet was clean and not used after...so you feel confident its clean.There is a small 1 foot fridge on the desk, however it is not plugged in, so if you need it, you'll want to maybe request it before you arrive or plug it in ASAP.The AC was good, and wasn't too loud.Overall pleasant and would recommend it to friends looking for a place to stay or would use it to host guests, since our condo is small.There's no breakfast included (which for the price, I wish there was). Even something simple wkth muffins, coffee, yogurt, cereal and fruit would be nice. They have a vending machine but its not stocked with items that are sustainable.Shopper's Drug Mart is across the street, so you can have some food options from there...or the many restaurants in the area, including the Korean BBQ attached to the hotel.Its a walk-up, so if you need the mainfloor, I'd call ahead. We were asked if the second floor was okay, we agreed. They want to ensure that they have main floor suites for folks who need them.Parking: free and ample (around back).

I didn't realize I had booked a two-star hotel. The location felt a little sketchy.. After a 10-hour drive, I decided I might as well check out the room. It had some plumbing issues, but the room was spotless and clean. Towels and sheets were low-end but quite satisfactory. Great room for the price.

We stayed four nights at this hotel and were very pleased with the experience. Our room was very clean throughout and everything worked well (microwave, coffee maker, fridge and heater) and the building was very quiet. The bed was comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful, and overall it was a good place to stay, excellent value for what we paid. There is a restaurant next door and lots of retail services nearby. We would definitely stay there again and also recommend it to others.

Great customer service! Room was available on short notice, which was super clean and equipped. Bathroom walls have been renovated and they even have a hair dryer :)The room was surprisingly quiet, even though the train track was only a few meter away from it.Very good for the price! Super recommend.

Great place to lay your head down for the night. Very friendly staff. Little bit noisy on the busy road next to it. Super clean rooms!

The staff here are amazing and were so kind to my husband and I who had to fly into Winnipeg very last minute. The hotel and rooms are immaculately clean and the bed was super comfortable. It is a bit far from the downtown Winnipeg area but the hotel has a bus stop right infront of it and it felt to be in a safe area and was a great price. If we ever have to or just get the chance for fun to come back to Winnipeg, we will be trying to stay here again!Thank you so much April for your help and kindness when we booked and to the rest of the staff.

The room is clean and well kept. There's sufficient parking and the area is relatively good. I'll consider staying here again.
